I typically like cotton boy shorts, but the brand I used to buy are no longer available. So, I went on the hunt for a replacement and found these. Although they're not cotton, I like them a lot. My pants slip over them more easily so they don't bunch up; they are pretty much undetectable under my workout pants; they don't ride up onto my butt cheeks; they're not too low cut; they're sturdy, but thin enough to not be bulky; and they're comfortable. What more could you want? The price was a no-brainer, too. if I bought multiples, the price went down considerably. BTW, the elastic between your butt cheeks is not even noticeable while wearing them. Not sure of the point, but it is totally fine.
