Kobo Libra Colour White eReader with Case Bundle (Garden Green Basic SleepCover, Case Bundle)

I purchased a brand-new Kobo Libra Colour from BlueProton through Walmart. The first unit I received arrived defective, with a bright spot on the screen right out of the box. I immediately contacted Walmart and the seller within the 30-day return period to request a replacement. BlueProton sent a replacement that was clearly used and previously opened, which is unacceptable for an item sold as new. When I confronted them, they claimed the replacement was a “courtesy” because I was “outside the 30-day window” — which is completely false, as my first complaint was filed well within the return period. To make matters worse, Kobo does not provide warranty coverage or support for customers in Puerto Rico, leaving me with no proper assistance from either the seller or the manufacturer. This has been a frustrating, time-consuming, and disappointing experience. BlueProton is dishonest, their customer service is terrible, and Kobo offers no real support for PR customers. Save yourself the headache — buy a Kindle instead. Better product, better warranty, better customer support.
