TOXIC TOXIC FUMES 2 WEEKS LATER NEVER BEEN SLEPT I

Smells like poison!!! It's a cheaply made product. It came with smashed corners and cracks in parts that connect where sturdiness matters. But the smell is so offensive tgat my kids haven't even slept in iy and we purchased and assembled it 2 weeks ago. My 1st review was never even published well see what happs this time. Save your money. This product is horrible.

Can't BREATHE next to this TOXIC, cheaply m bed!!

We assembled it last week as a surprise for the kids. They still haven't slept in it because the toxic fumes from the bed haven't gone away. We have left windows open and fans running for a week now and it is still very noticeable. The boxes come with formaldehyde phase 2 warnings all over the packaging. The manufacturer claims they are acceptably safe levels of formaldehyde per CA law. But, I won't allow my kids to sleep in it with this toxic odor. Sleep is for regeneration and restoration not for inhaling fumes of death all night long. This bed should be safe for little growing people. Something is def wrong here. There's no way this is a safe product. The press board is loaded with toxic glues and almost all of the pieces came with cracks, smashed corners and chips. Even the wood slats that hold the upper mattress are strung together with a thin string instead of a strap. Not sufficient for a top bunk!! The bed is shaky after assembly, not solid and stable. I believed this was a wood product when I bought it. Many of the key points where connetions are made (that should be strong) came with deep cracks, that worsened when tightening the fasteners. I was only able to.attach 2 photos, but I have several more. Our kids are so disappointed that they can't enjoy the bed. And it was a huge pain to assemble. I wish I'd had bought the higher quality peice I was leaning toward before this deciding on this one. If the fumes don't go away soon, we will have to dissmble this thing and return. This is a HUGE hassle.
