Great for students

I got this for my 7th grader after evaluating chromebooks and less powerful windows laptops. Unfortunately, he needed to have a windows laptop due to requirements for running some apps, plus we've found the 2-in-1 design is extremely helpful. The m3 processor is great for our needs. Don't get bogged down by the speed rating or only being dual-core. This beats quad core and higher speed pentium processors, and is basically equivalent to the 7th gen i3, except it uses less power so can't do sustained loads for as long. It's enough for having a dozen chrome tabs open and running some semi-intensive simulation software for robotics that choked up the pentium based laptops. The SSD is really the key to performance here more than the processor (at least in terms of responsiveness) No, you won't be able to game, but it's for school work. :-D Pros are it is very compact (easy to carry to/from school), quiet (no fan!), the screen is full HD (1920x1080), and the keyboard and touchpad are responsive and comfortable to use (Better than my Lenovo Yoga, IMHO). Only a couple cons based on our needs: keyboard isn't backlit and it has a micro-hdmi so we'll need an adaptor to present from. Otherwise, at this price, no regrets! Mine came with a carrying case in the box which was a nice bonus.

Almost perfect for me!

I've only had this notebook a couple weeks and so far it's great. I knew the Keyboard was not lighted, thought I would be ok without it, but sure do miss it. Knowing the keyboard helps for typing in the dark. I thought the screen would help shine light in the dark, but nope. Aside from that, this notebook is a fast startup and shut down. Fast with the upgrades also. I did not add all of the apps when setting up or allow all of the tracking. I think that has helped keep my battery life outstanding. I did a test. I charged fully at least 12 hours, I unplugged power and battery lasted forever, I waited 12 hours and still had 3/4 (75%). battery life left. Has great features. The keyboard is easy to use. Wish the on and off button was in a different place, on the side really small not easy to push on. The volume comes from bottom so sound is small but maybe headphones will relieve any issues with that. Very light but nice size screen. Because so thin, hard for me to open sometimes. None of those small things matter at this time I'm pleased, it's exactly what I expected.

Great Laptop!

+Excellent value for money ! +Sleek and attractive looks. +Long lasting and stellar battery life. +Terrific speed and awesome WiFi !! Some what awkwardly placed power button -its actually under the laptop. If you used a modern non-touch 13" before, this one can feel somewhat heavy -but then generally touch laptops can be heavier than non-touch ones. It does not have a power Adapter - power cord combo. Instead, it has a single charging cable with brick at the plug point -somewhat like how an iPad charger is.
