Sounds Great on Vinyl, Even Without Waters

A Momentary Lapse of Reason sounds great on vinyl—clean, immersive, and atmospheric. Even without Roger Waters, the album holds up well, with David Gilmour's guitar work and polished production shining through. Songs like “Learning to Fly” really benefit from the warmth and depth of vinyl. A solid addition to any Pink Floyd collection.

Always loved this record, so I had to pick it up.

Some audiophiles do not seem to like 180 gram records, but I definitely do, because they seem less likely to warp. This record came out when I was in high school and although there was the whole "Waters v. Gilmour" thing, it's one of my favorites. I couldn't really detect the difference from the original mastering, but some might. It is bright and vibrant on vinyl. What else can I say? I guess I wish the liner notes were a little more interesting, there's not much extra included. It's still a great addition for any Pink Floyd fan.
