I got this for my husband. He was having trouble getting up out of a chair. My father had one a few years back, and it held up very well; this time, I got the wide one, thinking it would be easier to move around. It's very comfortable and looks more prominent than I thought it would be. I am 75 years old, and I put it together. It was very easy, but it is a little heavy even though it comes in 3 boxes. I got the beige color, and it's a lovely off-white color. And I am pleased with this chair. The photo I took so you could see the light on the remote is a plus at night
