Have had this doggie door for about 20 years. Ours is installed in the wall close to the back door. Have replaced the door flap once due to a tear in the vinyl. We rescue/foster pups, so we never know what size pup we will end up with. I say pup, but we never get puppies, I always pick older dogs who are not pretty/adoptable. We love this door - the only reason I'm looking to get a new one is my new situation. Due to an accident, I use a walker and cannot get up if I fall. I forgot to hide the door key outside and I fell in the middle of the night. EMS could not get in to help me. The skinniest one had to crawl in thru the doggie dog, open the front door, and help me. Thank you Lord, for doggie doors. It's a good thing all of my dogs know the police/EMS, as I fall often. I have bad vertigo and lost my husband last year.
