My handyman installed this for me, but I think it was more on the easy side to install. Took my dog a couple days to get used to the door, but she's fine now! We've had it a few weeks now, and it seems to be pretty good! My dog is smaller in size, so she does have to kind of hop through the door, since it has to be raised a little (it can't be flush to the bottom frame of the screen door).
