Wide mouth; Super-impressed!
I am super-impressed with this trash can. Not only is it gorgeous to look at, it is an impressive work horse. The inner removable bucket is so very convenient. I have LOVED every minute using this step-activated trash can! Trust me, I own that extremely expensive SH brand, and this trash can holds up even better! Note that there is Styrofoam below the inner bucket, thus, if you try an close the trash can, it will "appear" that it does not close properly. So, prior to placing this trash can into service, remove the inner plastic bucket, look down, see the Styrofoam and remove it. It's been an absolute pleasure operating and using this manual stainless steel step trash can, and my favorite part is, what I call, a wide mouth. Soft-close lid. Easy to operate, gorgeous stainless steel fingerprint resistant, and at a price point we can all afford. Highly recommend!

This is an awesome garbage can. It has a full plastic liner can. The lid soft closes, no slamming shut. Beautiful stainless steel finish. Liner holds standard 13 gallon bags and tucks neatly inside. I think i'm going to get a smaller one for the bathroom. I am very happy with my new garbage can!

Our round stainless can worked hard for us for years, but decided it needed to be retired! Read reviews and went with this one. Very happy with it!! Fits great against the wall, and the lid closes slowly. No more fingerprints either! I wipe it down once a week when I change the bag - which is super easy to remove from the bin, by the way.
