Mainstays Distressed Zig Zag Teal/White Indoor Area Rug, 7'6" x 9'6"

Its a great rug as far as quality, which was surprising because it is quite inexpensive. What I expected of the rug was just the last less than a year (which was okay with me, because we are in a home owned by the University where my husband is just on a year contract.. I wanted something cheap that I didn't think would necessarily last), because I definitely expected the ends to curl up as they do with rigid, cheap rugs. This rug is a little rigid but NOT in a bad way. I've had it for about 3 months now and the ends all lay perfectly flat. It vacuums nicely, the quality feels great and it's s a perfect addition to a children's room, a playroom, etc. For the price, this rug is not a compromise, it's genuinely a great deal. It has vibrant colors (a bit more so than the computer screen come which is normal), fun pattern and it's especially perfect for the childrens bedroom/playroom. if they had more color options, I would consider a usable for living room and adult bedrooms, but that's just a preference- if you like the color and patterns then it'll do just fine in those areas! It is extremely inexpensive and all around very decent quality! *** If you have wood floors, invest in a size appropriate rug mat. If you have never had to buy a rug mat, you can find one for about $10 or less on Amazon, they are very, cheap and easy to use. You just lay it down before the rug and put the rug over it, this prevents the rug from sliding and causing falls. This rug WILL slide some on wood floors. it is not an issue with THIS rug, it is common with most rugs, and a rubber early text rug mat is usually recommended with any rug for hard floors. when weighing quality vs. price vs. aesthetic - I would definitely give this rug 4-5 stars! ** One more piece of advice that I recently came across: in order to prevent a rug from curling up at the ends, go to home Depot or Lowe's or a store like this and buy one adhesive tile (adhesive laminate, faux wood, it doesn't matter, as long as it's flexible and adhesive it's fine) cut the square into four triangles, you can do this by making an x on the square and cutting out the triangular wedges. on the back side of your rug, use the adhesive side and line it up with one of the corners of your rug. this will give the corners that usually curl up, some weight and structure and because you have this material underneath that will and cannot curl up, and it's heavier - the ends of your rug will always stay flat!! It works like a dream and with almost any rug, I highly recommend it to extend the life of your rug for a very long time!
