I would recommend this gate.
A friend has this gate in the shorter version and it has stood the test of time 5years. We bought the taller so far happy. Love that the door as it swings both directions.

Ugly permanent stickers all over the gate
Solid gate but a few major problems, one of which is major: 1) They put 4 large warning stickers on the gate that are ugly and are permanent. I have spent an hour with various solvents trying to remove the stickers and only have 1 of the 4 completely removed. 2) Only the gate itself is wood, the sides are metal. 3) Much darker color than the picture I Have not taken the second gate out of the box yet and am considering returning it along with the open one.
