Bring 4 to 6 quarts of slightly salted water to a rapid boil. Pour in the quantity of pasta needed, stirring gently until the water boils again. Cook to desired tenderness, stirring occasionally. Drain immediately in colander and place on platter. Season to taste.

I haven't had a long fusilli pasta in 30 years. When I was a kid Ronzoni had a near identical shape but it's impossible to find. The Colavita is as good as I can remember. Definitely getting more.

I love this pasta shape for cold or room-temperature sesame noodles. Any vegetables cling to the nooks of the twists - shredded carrots, scallions, diced cucumber, etc. It's good for any sauce. The shape is good for draining the pasta using the lid and not a colander; the individual strands of pasta don't slip out of the pan as easily as with straight shapes. The taste and texture of Colavita pasta are wonderful, regardless of shape. Great price for the quality, too.
