Been looking for my 9 year old a mouth guard that works well with braces. We have tried 3 different types. He likes this one because he can talk to call plays. Bring water to hot but not boiling. It only has to stay in for 30 second or less. If you need a strap put it in before you put in the hot water.

Package does not specify it is a 2 pack. We thought we were getting a top and bottom to protect our sons mouth from his braces. My son had lost his mouth guard on his way to a meet. We ran and purchased these last minute, it was the only one available that looked like it might be top and bottom. It wasn't. That and it ‘popped' a bracket on his braces. No big deal, just required another visit to the orthodontist to get it out back on. It happens.
