What a great set of lamps. They are not so much purple as they are blue. The three way dimmer is for the night light only which lights up the glass base beautifully. First order contained a cracked base which I didn't find til I had already put the first one together (easy peasy) so check them before assembly. Returning to the store and reordering on website was NOT a problem. Got a gift card and with new order already in my cart, I place order before leaving the store. If I needed more lamps, I would def order these. Shipping was great and so was the 'fulfilled by Walmart'

While these lamps are absolutely gorgeous, they're a wee bit shorter than I was able to picture in my mind while reading their description. It does NOT take away from its beauty or functionality, just was thinking they were a couple of inches taller. I like the fact that they have charging ports in the base of the lamps AND they came WITH the proper wattage of light bulbs. I've never bought a lamp that came with light bulbs! The only thing negative about them are the VERY unusual lamp shades! They came as a long, flat piece of plastic like material that you had to roll into a circle and push the two edges together so a narrow piece of Velcro holds the shade together. How crazy is that!! THEN....using the little clips on the inside of the shade, you take one of the metal rings and snap it under each clip in all 4 places on the upper edge of the shade. You then repeat that pricess for the lower edge of the shade. You now have what actually looks like a lamp shade instead of a flat piece of something. They were well worth the money, especially since it was for a pair, not just one lamp. I would recommend these without any hesitation.
