Works great even for dogs!
We got this for our diabetic dog. He is very sensitive about people touching his paws, and has no visible veins in his ears nor calloused elbows. The only other option we could find was his lower back, which sometimes gets calloused when his skin condition flares up. None of the lancing devices designed for dogs we tried could get enough of a sample from that area easily, and it hurt him each time we had to try again. This lancet gets just enough of a sample for his meter with the default tip, and he hardly notices it sticking him. It has really made things easier for all of us, and I highly recommend it to anyone in a similar situation.

Was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes a bit ago and hated the painful finger prickling from a few lancets devices I had tried. With genteel I don't feel no pain at all. Love this product.
