good tool and easy to use

Does the job of pitting a cherry very well and keeps my fingernails clean from cherry juice digging the pit out manually. The only thing a user needs to be aware of is that once in a while the pit remains attached to the bottom of the cherry. Maybe 1 in 25 and you do not want a guest chopping down on a hard pit so simply make sure there is a pit on the cutting board every time you press the lever. The cherries are also not damaged a lot in case you want whole cherries.
