Terrific metal shovel
This shovel is so sturdy, dug right in. The handle is metal, replacing a short D shovel with wooden handle that broke after a couple or so years. Made in U.S.A. ! This is just right for older people for garden digging. I don't feel I'm about to topple over.

Materials are great - the weld appears to have been done by a 2nd year high school shop class… and “quality control” decided to leave a piece of metal inside the shaft that rattles like crazy — no way to remove the flaw… I might be forced to shop it back … if I do I'm going with a different USA made brand. This is China made quality on this one. Disappointing.
