Feature: Easy to install with simple hand tools in just a few minutes. The gas springs are powerful and can support small, medium to heavy objects. Such as car windows, car bonnet, or car tailgate. With easy fittings to any surface, just attach and lift, your gas spring lifts and hold the weight objects. This gas spring is universal and fits for RV windows, car hoods and rear hatch, pickup truck tonneau covers, trailer covers, bus luggage doors, motorcycle seat covers, and so on. Installation: STEP 1: Please use safety stands under the vehicle or supports when you install gas struts. It would more easier and convenient if someone could help you open the hood or tailgate. STEP 2: Before removing the old gas struts, check the end connection and compare the extended length of your car's old one to make sure they are the same. STEP 3: Put a small flat-headed screwdriver on the end of U shaped band of gas struts and remove it. Turn the screwdriver slowly and it will lift on the band approx 1/8'', then pull the struts away from the car. STEP 4: To install the new strut, please follow the same way in reverse. If the U band is not lifted up before installing the new support, it may be damaged. STEP 5: If the ends are not aligned, you may need to rotate the struts. First, connect the shaft end of the bracket to the vehicle, and then rotate the entire body of the bracket clockwise to align the ends. Note: If the temperature is lower than minus 20 degrees, the oil density of the gas spring turns high (frozen) and it is difficult to press down. Please allow 0.5mm differences due to manual measurement.
