Simply Daisy 18" x 14" Autumn Leaves Floral Print Placemat, Set of 4

I am keeping these because the pattern compliments my décor. But I am going to redo all the stitching. First, it is bright white thread on mostly dark fabric. Second, the tension of the thread was too tight, so the edges are slightly gathered and do not lay flat. Third, each of the corners has loose white thread sticking out of it. Very poorly done. The fabric is thin but fine, and the pattern is as pictured.
