True food for the soul

Absolutely beautiful and inspirational words from an important Orthodox saint of the nineteenth century. Though I am only fifty pages into the book, every word seems to breathe new life into my spirit. In fact, I've debated on rereading those few pages in order to get a second helping of each word for better digestion. I confess, I am a Catholic Christian; however, I am in love with the desert fathers and the Eastern mystics and find myself drawing closer and closer to the eastern rites. Read and be enriched!
