I will start off saying I am no way a professional when it comes to my audio needs. I am a hobbyist DJ at best! I bought this to complete my setup for a home setup with occasional playing small parties. I got this right before I had a small Xmas party planned to play. I paired this with 2 Mackie Pa's and am completely blown away, this thing pounds! I played an outdoor party and the police were called within the first hour due to just the bass! I say this is a great sub for the money and I have 0 complaints about the purchase. It was well packaged and arrived extremely quick. I will definitely look into seismic in the future for more speaker needs.

Solid performance

We are very please with our subs. Their performance fills our 40x60' church sanctuary, and our detailed enough to reveal that someone had placed a kick drum mic inside the drum backwards. Reversing the mic provided the sound that had been missing. Very good!

I honestly haven't had a chance to put it through it's paces yet, I've barely had time to begin breaking in and stretching it. So far it seems to be another great product by SA. If it has half the thump and durability of the 18" I have by them, then it'll be great. For the price, these speakers really can't be beat. I would honestly trust them over any entry level speaker, and most of the mid priced options out there as well. The only real downside is the carpet. Which makes them a bit more to deal with if you actually gig with them. If you're just looking for something to fill out the low end on a house or studio system, or for djing or playing electronic drums or something in your bedroom, then you won't find a better option for anywhere near this price point. If you're on the fence, just consider everything I've said, but I say give it a chance. While the 18" I have clips a little earlier than I had hoped, it's still plenty of bump for your buck.
