This is a heavy-duty professional use power saw. I am very impressed with the power and battery life. I've always bought Makita, and this is an upgrade from their 18V units. I don't like that my older Makita power tools and batteries are not compatible, but if you need more power and battery life, then this new line of Makita tools is the way to go.
