Black out curtains by jacobean

I feel in love with the softness and the color as soon as they arrived. They are 74" wide by 84" long Each panel is 37" x 84" so I need to hem these up just a little as I love my curtains to hang to the floor. Box states 100 % black out id say 97% but I can live with that . I don't want any outside light coming in so once its dark out my room will be also. The design on the curtains is really nice like floral but more modern for todays look. These curtains were so soft to handle when I put them up in there rod pocket. They are 100 % polyester. I love them and have one more room I want to get them for as we are having a heat wave in Mi right now and the last thing I want is any more sun or heat coming in. 103 degrees is just a little too much . These I hung in y bed room and the heat has already dropped just by putting these up. I do recommend these as they do a pretty good job

Does Darken the Room

This pair of room darkening curtain panels definitely did eliminate most of the light coming into the room. The curtain fabric is substantial and heavy in weight. I liked that they went up easily on a standard curtain rod. They are also easy care. Wash in cold water on gentle cycle, tumble dry, low. The pair in the pics are 37”x63”. This pair of panels came in a “sea” blue color which is nice.

Blackout curtain of choice

Eclipse brand will always be the blackout curtain of choice in our home. We can trust that the high quality fabric with block out light and make it easy to sleep. The curtains are durable and come in a variety of beautiful colors. The only thing I would change about the curtains is how wrinkled they are when you first take them out the package, but a steamer can fix this quickly. I will also recommend Eclipse curtains for families with napping babies and night shift workers.
