Missing Important Parts

I had some issues with the tracking for this purchase. It came later than expected, which was fine. I assembled most of this bed before realizing I was missing a few really important parts. The bed has a lot of pieces, but if you follow it step by step, it isn't bad. I did it alone, though it recommends two people in the directions. The most difficult part was putting on the legs of the bed, but I managed. The bed comes in two boxes. Box A was missing 24 wooden slats and 3 other pieces for the frame. Upon further inspection, it seems that the box had either been ripped or opened and was taped back together with other cardboard pieces. Now the Walmart is sold out of the bed. The furniture company, DHP, has been lovely to deal with, however since the bed is new, they don't have a lot of replacement parts. I will likely have to wait weeks to get the parts I need, so the bed is sitting half-assembled in my room. I will be sleeping on my old mattress on the floor until then. Walmart's customer service was pleasant to deal with, though there isn't much that can be done until the bed is back in stock.
