Box frame did the job

We needed to lower a mattress height that had a comfort pad on top of the mattress because it made it so high my 88 year old mother in law had to use a step stool to get into bed, with this 4” frame we replaced the 9” box springs and now she can easily get on/off the bed. Like the one we took off although they're referred to as “Box Springs” it's just a frame to support the mattress on top. It's exactly what we wanted.
