NPET Automatic Cat Water Fountain with Faucet Kits, 1.5L

I've bought these in the past but couldn't tell when it was out of water unless I took the top off. It's so easy with the see-through design. Simple to put together. I love the small design. I use for two cats (and the dogs when they wander into the cat's room). Need another for them. definitely recommend.

I got this automatic cat water fountain because I was tired of my cat staring at the bathroom faucet like it owed him money. He refused to drink from his regular bowl unless the water was freshly poured. Since I moved his stuff into the converted garage where I spend most of my time, I figured he deserved a little upgrade too. The fountain has a nice faucet-style stream and is actually kind of soothing to listen to while I work. Setup was easy and it came with everything needed right out of the box. The faucet kit gives you a couple options for how the water flows which is great because of course my cat prefers the one that splashes slightly onto the mat. It holds enough water for a couple days and the filter keeps it from getting gross. He started drinking from it almost immediately which is a small miracle in itself. There were a couple of quirks. The first time I plugged it in the pump was a little louder than expected but after adjusting the water level it quieted down. Also you have to clean it every so often or it starts to look like a tiny fish tank without the fish. It is not hard to take apart but there are a few little pieces so I try not to lose any down the sink. Overall I am happy with it and more importantly my cat seems to approve. He drinks more water now which is good and I do not have to keep refilling a bowl five times a day. It is small enough to fit in a corner of the garage without getting in the way and the running water sound is actually kind of relaxing. If you have a picky cat or just want to make sure they are staying hydrated this thing does the job.
