"The book Urban Environment and Social Wellbeing in Second Class Indian Cities is a comprehensive research work carried out for a thesis submitted for the award of Ph.D. degree in Geography at the Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. The study of interior social and environmental structure of the cities reveals some unpleasant conditions prevailing there. Social area analysis can be used to identify the inequalities in the socio-political and environmental conditions at micro level.
