I'm sorry but I can't tell the difference between the taste of any olive oils, let alone virgin vs extra virgin oil. I bought it for the price because olive oil isn't cheap and I use it for most of my cooking because it's healthy and light. Olive oil is so versatile to use too.

I love the flavor of this particular olive oil. I mix 1/2 cup of this oil with 1/3 of a cup of seasoned rice wine vinegar, 1/4 cup of pure maple syrup, 1/2 teaspoon of salt and pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of Dijon, mustard and 2 fresh crushed garlic cloves. It makes the best dressing ever. Mix with an immersion blender and chill prior to serving. Enjoy.
