need help with malfunctioning led holiday lites.

I purchased 3 sets of 100 lites, ( Holiday Time, Cool white LED C9, ) together with the gutter clips to mount them to the house. I always test the lites before unpacking them and they were working just fine. I outlined my house with them and was very happy with the finished product and how great the house looked. They were working fine ( from 11/29) until December 29th when ONLY the middle section of the middle 100 set went dark. The following day ,in the daylight , I checked the fuse's but both were fine . I have been unable to figure it out. I hope you can help me with this because I can't understand how or why a middle group of lights ( 32 of 100) in a series of 3 sets, all being fed from one end, so the first 100 is fed from the power source, connected to the second set , which has the middle 32 lites dark but the last 30 lites are lit as are the third set connected to the second set and same power source. Fuse's are good ( even changed both of them with the packed replacments) cannot figure this out, but am very dissappointed and frustrated. please advise, it would really be appreciated.
