Heterocity (Paperback)

Heterocity´s fictional exploration of the same-sex marriage legalization situation in centralamerica was awarded the Mario Monteforte Toledo centralamerican novel prize for 2011. The novel fans out into multiple aspects of the problem with equal measures of selfassurance, erudition and elegant prose, developing the social, personal, political, religious ramifications of the fight for equal rights undertaken by sexual minorities and the LGBT community in the violently repressive and macho environment prevalent in most of latinamerica.
