Key item features

"MXC" (also known as "Most Extreme Elimination Challenge") is the ultimate take on extreme reality sports competition. A side-splitting cross between "Mystery Science Theater 3000," "What's Up Tiger Lilly," and the "X Games," each episode pits two teams (such as America's Meat Handlers and the Cartoon Voice-Over Actors) competing in some of the funniest, most hazardous games ever conceived on television. Equally compelling is the hilarious rapid fire commentary by hosts Vic Romano and Kenny Blankership, field marshal Captain Tenneal and sideline reporter Guy LeDouche.

Select Episode Audio Commentary By Victor Wilson, John Cervenka, Mary Scheer, Paul Abeyta, Peter Kaikko And Larry Strawther, Original Episode Of "Takeshi's Castle" (Episode #93), MXC Original Sales Presentation (November, 2001), Kenny Blankenship's Most Painful Eliminations Of The Season.

an acquired taste.

I had caught a few episodes on tv and laughed until I cried. After having watched this set, I realize that I must have just stumbled upon the few very funny shows. I'm not a fan of the raunchy, adolescent humor that had seemed just incidental when I first watched. The jokes were so fast and furious and seemed to be varied but now it sounds like it was written by very lonely 14 year olds. The premise is cool and this foreign show really lends itself well to comedic treatment. Perhaps a few adults should have been included in the writing process.
