Shelf and grating pieces connectors are not very sturdy. cats often fall through the shelves. but it works for its purpose of containing the cats. one cat really likes the hammock. the ramps just get in the way and restrict places for them to lay down. cats can jump up to where they want to be. it is difficult once assembled to reach in and move any items around like small cat box or cushions i find.
