Inspire my heart, my thoughts to sing your praise Throughout all of my life and wondering days May I find peace in the things that I do May it reflect that I trust and depend on you. When I feel discouraged, dejected or downtrodden Remind me of the path that you have trodden Not with dread of fearful thoughts But that you dwell within our hearts Teach me your love and tenderness Just like you taught in the wilderness Fill my heart with love divine Till I reach a shore far more sublime With hope assured by your loving grace That one day we'll meet face to face I'll take comfort and rest secure Knowing I'll meet you on the other shore
