This can cooler is as good as any of the other comparable products for a very competitive price. Thermal performance is excellent (no noticeable difference compared to competitors' products) and we really like the look the stainless steel top has compared to the plastic tops of most competitor's products. It fits standard sized beverage cans really well and fits standard size/shape beer bottles fairly. Like other comparable products, it does not work so well with non-standard shaped cans and bottles. This is not a design flaw as some have implied in their posts. If you want to use a non-standard size & shape can or bottle then buy something else that was designed for that. A few people have written reviews complaining that the rubber gasket attached to the screw on metal top becomes detached but we've not had that problem. We have had that problem with another brand that had a plastic screw-on top with an attached rubber gasket and found the short-term workaround was to place the rubber gasket over the can first and then screw on the plastic top. Later on we glued the rubber gasket back on to the plastic screw-on top and the problem was fixed. I'm guessing that the same could be done with this can cooler.

I used it as a beverage coozie as well As an extra coffee cup. Great heat retention while using as an extra coffee cup. As a coozie, the be(er)verage was ice cold and long gone so not really able to determine how well the cool retention lasted.
