I bought it in March and it was fairly good. However, it is now September and there is practically no suction. I have taken it apart and cleaned it. There is no reason for it not to be sucking up dirt. Or it'll suck the dirt and then as soon as I turn it off, it will drop the entire pile of dirt that it just sucked up.
