High quality, whole home Iron Pro water softener designed by AFWFilters. Meter based on-demand regeneration with the Fleck 5600SXT offers efficient regeneration based on your water use. Complete with brine tank and plastic bypass valve with 3/4" MNPT connection. Main resin tank is approximately 10" x 54" approximately 62" overall height with control head. Brine tank is approximately 14" x 14" x 36", both tanks are almond color. Fine mesh resin is engineered to remove iron better than standard resins. Capable of removing up to 6 ppm of ferrous iron without additional systems required. If ferric iron or higher levels of iron are present a separate iron filter is recommended. System comes with 1.5 cubic foot of resin capable of removing a maxium of 48,000 grains 48k of hardness between regenerations actual capacity dependent on system settings and water chemistry. With iron in the water you will need to add 4 gpg for every ppm of iron to your base hardness level to get your total compensated hardness, used when sizing and setting the system.
