McKesson's medical face mask is made of a three-layer, non-woven fabric featuring spunbond polypropylene on the inner and outer layers and a meltblown polypropylene middle layer. You can feel confident that the mask meets the ASTM requirements for Level 1 barrier protection with particulate filtration efficiencies greater than 95% and fluid resistance at 80 mm Hg. The cool and breathable SMS material is pleated and protrudes outwards, allowing room to breathe comfortably. Single-strand, elastic ear loops stretch to fit behind ears with less irritation. They are also low-profile to enhance comfort. The mask is non-sterile with a flexible metal nose-bridge bar that bends to fit each user’s unique facial contours. This helps the mask stay in place and helps maintain a protective barrier by minimizing gaps. One size fits most adults, with the mask measuring 7 inches x 3.75 inches.
