The GlideLok works on most standard interior and exterior doors with hinges, including French doors and double doors. Your door must be 1-3/8 inches thick or less to install the GlideLok without removing the spacer bar. Your door can be up to 1-13/16 inches thick if you remove the spacer bar with a #1 Phillips drill bit. Please measure the thickness of your door before ordering. This product does not work on any type of sliding door on a track, such as bifold doors, pocket doors, sliding glass doors, or sliding decorative barn doors. It also does NOT work on metal door frames, patio screen doors, storm doors, or double swing doors (that swing both ways).

Love this lock! Got it for the garage door between the house and garage. I like that it can be locked from both sides with the slide. My mother has dementia and wanders at night and knows how to unlock door locks. She cant reach this one and stays safe in the house. Watched the video from the maker and it was informative.
