Dr. Ward's research and scholarship focus on instructional technologies, healthcare management, problem-based learning, and student research. He has both clinical and administrative backgrounds, having served as a physician assistant and hospital administrator. Currently, Dr. Ward is researching ways to improve the internship process for health service students in order to better facilitate matriculation into area hospitals and other healthcare-based organizations."
