Although the size and thickness weren't exactly what I expected, my profoundly autistic child loves this product. He immediately engaged with it and we use it to practice our colors and shapes. He has begun organizing his other toys by color and shapes on this rug. At this point, I would pay double the price for this product because of how much of a game-changer it has been for my child. If you are a parent of an autistic child, get this rug. It makes for a great addition to the play room.
