It's a bench but it barely rocks. I had to cut off some of the bolts that were way too long and the bench would rub on these. I figured by shortening those it would swing much better but not really. If you actually want to rock with this you have to actually use your hamstrings so it isn't very relaxing. I'm wishing I had bought traditional rockers.

comfortable to sit on, but the rocking motion is a lie. it does not rock at all, this is a glider and ibwould barely call it that. it glides only a couple inches which makes your motion back and forth much quicker and more akward than a swinging bench. its too large to return assembled and i dont feel like dissassembling it so it stays...
