Instructions
. Painting Conditions: Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area such as an open garage. Use when temperature is between 50°F (10°C) and 90°F (32°C) and humidity is below 65% to ensure proper drying. Do not apply to surfaces that, when heated, exceed 200°F (93°C) or galvanized metal. Avoid spraying in very windy, dusty conditions. Cover surrounding area to protect from spray mist. Preparation: Remove loose paint and rust with brush or sandpaper. Lightly sand glossy surfaces. Clean with soap and water, rinse and let dry. Priming: Use of a Rust-Oleum Primer provides superior adhesion and hiding and is especially recommended for bare wood and metal. Painting: Shake can vigorously for one minute after mixing ball begins to rattle. If mixing ball fails to rattle Do Not Strike Can. Contact Rust-Oleum. Shake often during use. Hold can 10-16" from surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion, slightly ovelapping each stroke. Keep the can the same distance from the surface. Keep the can in motion while spraying. Apply 2 or more light coats a few minutes apart. Note: Matte Finish features an advanced spray system that allows you to spray at any angle, even upside down for these hard to reach areas. A comfort spray tip with wider finger pad reduces fatigue caused by continuous spraying. Dry & Recoat Times based on 70°F (21°C)-50% relative humidity. Allow more time at cooler temperatures. Dries to the touch in 20 minutes, to handle in 1 hour and fully dry in 24 hours. Apply a second coat anytime. Clean-up: Wipe off tip when finished. Clean up wet paint with Xylol or mineral spirits. Throw away empty can in trash pickup. Do not burn or place in home trash compactor. Clogging: If valve clogs, twist and pull off nozzle and rinse it in a solvent such as mineral spirits. Do not stick a pin or objects into the stem.

Intentional misuse by deliberately concentrating and inhaling the content may be harmful or fatal. Vapors may ignite explosively. Keep away from heat, sparks and flame. Do not smoke. Extinguish all flames and pilot lights and turn off stoves, heaters, electric motors and other sources of ignition during use and until all vapors are gone. Prevent build-up of vapors by opening all windows and doors to achieve cross-ventilation. Use only with adequate ventilation. Do not breathe dust, vapors, or spray mist. Ensure fresh air entry during application and drying. If you experience eye watering, headache or dizziness, wear respiratory protection (NIOSH approved) or leave the area. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. First Aid: If you experience difficulty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air. If continued difficulty is experienced, get medical attention immediately. In case of eye contact, flush immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention; for skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water. My application
Perfect, redo old black stripe on my dodge, old school matte and fairly flat still needs a good first coat of primer to eliminate uneven final finish, not a deep dark black.. just what I was after.

NOT black, very disappointed
As others have mentioned, when in sunlight the color is almost a dark military green color. This is extremely frustrating as I wasted my money on what I sprayed it on. I will be returning it.
