Larger than expected, lots of damage

I would NOT recommend this as a gift. Over half the stems are damaged from bad care. That said, I gave it 3 stars because I ordered this for myself. It is much larger than expected, so if I were to cut off all the damage, it would look more like the picture. Some of the longer undamaged stems even have new pink growth. So im happy to rehab this plant. I've wanted a fishbone cactus for a long time so I love it. With some care and rehab, it will be great. But not worth the price and certainly don't send it as a gift!
