Lifetime Guarantee. They Really Mean It!

We bought a double cylinder Arlington handset for our French front door in 2007. Living in Florida and near the ocean are hard on metals with salt air punishing even the hardest metals. About every three years, the handsets began to show signs of corrosion. Called Kwikset with the original sales receipt information and they replaced the complete set, including new lock cylinders, without question. Have had to do that three times, each time sending them a photo and receiving new complete sets. Polished brass may not be the best choice for salt air but they look darned nice on our doors. Moreover, we are most impressed with the quality of Kwikset products as well as their standing behind the product. Lifetime guarantee. They really do mean it!

YOU NEED TO KNOW....

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Living in Florida and close to the ocean the lifetime warranty on finish is very important. A warranty replacement was required on my first handle in less than three years. I learned the surefire way to protect the finish indefinitely is to spray the handle with automotive clearcoat when it is new. After five years or more the areas that are touched by hands will have to be refinished with clearcoat again. The clearcoat had failed and not handleset finish. Not a big deal to have the best looking handleset in the neighborhood. The attached photo shows my sixteen year old handleset.

Very attractive and functional

I used the old one for 15 years. Finally the push button no longer worked. I got hold of quickest and after a period of time it was replaced with a new one. I like the lifetime warranty. I'm ver happy with quickest. I use them on my house and 5 rental units.
