I am so excited to get this battery storage unit. I have had a couple of other cases, but I didn't like them because they didn't have little individual holes or grooves to hold each battery in place. In those, unless they are completely full, the batteries just roll around loose and don't stay in their place. This case has little, perfectly sized slots for each battery of each common size. There are even several little slots for coin-type lithium batteries, which I have a lot of for various things like flameless candles and clocks. The capacity is wonderful, with plenty of room for lots of batteries of different sizes. I'll probably never have that many batteries on hand, but it's nice to have the room if I need it. I like that it comes with mounting hardware. If you want to hang it up on a wall, the batteries stay put in their slots, but it saves a lot of shelf space. I wasn't sure about the clear cover at first, but thinking about it, it'll be great to be able to see, at a glance, what batteries I have and what I'm running short of. Finally, the included battery checker to see whether batteries are charged or not is a nice touch. I've never had or used one of these, but there have been plenty of times that would be handy.
