Ok, so I wanted to know what perculated coffee is like, and i did love the taste, but it was too strong, because the measurements are not correct. This isnt 9 cups. I used my measuring cup, and it's a little over 2 cups. For a light roast you only need to use 1 tablespoon of grounded coffee per cup. I wouldn't go past the 1st line. Bow for a darker roast my daughter says to do 3 tablespoons, but its all according to how strong you want it. Its a really cute perculator. Red is my favorite color for the kitchen, but Im not convinced this is stainless steel, and the instructions on the box isnt the best. Seems like it was badly translated from another language, but over all, its a cute little perculator, and cheap. It does the job for now until I get good at making it.
