I love these containers. I use them all the time for my son's lunch. I recently had another brand that I was rinsing out. I always close the lid on my Starfrit, and shake it with the water and soap in it to give it a good rinse. I did this with another brand, and ended up with water all over my clothes because it doesn't seal the same way. I will not buy anything but Lock & Lock brand for freshness and leak protection.

Extremely durable, versatile, stackable. No leaks!!! I prepare lunches Bento-box style by placing all the starfrit smaller containers into a 4L container. It fits perfectly into my daughter's backpack, on her desk, on the travel tray in the car. I can prepare bunches of little containers of snacks in advance and then throw a mix of different foods (each contained) all together in the large container come time to make a lunch.
