The forefoot off-loading healing shoe is expertly made to promote optimal healing conditions. Its design features a 15° wedge sole that effectively shifts body weight to the midfoot and heel. This reduces weight-bearing pressure on the forefoot, allowing for faster healing after surgery. With its square toe design, this healing shoe acts as a bumper, protecting the toes, especially when K-wires are present. It also ensures a better left/right fit, accommodating various foot shapes and sizes. The ankle strap securely seats the foot in the shoe, reducing heel slippage and eliminating friction. The removable forefoot closure provides added security while eliminating any buckle pressure. The insole can also be modified as needed for a personalized fit.
