Compared to the previous Serenity, the Plus version offers longer wear, with even greater traction in the snow with much lower rolling resistance, that equals greater fuel economy.
- It was designed to provide Bridgestone's ultimate balance of luxury, elegance and comfort with long wear in dry, wet and wintertime conditions. The Serenity Plus is also backed by an 80,000 mile (H-speed rate) tread warranty along with a 75,000 mile (V-speed rated) and 50,000 mile for (W-speed rated) tires.
- The Turanza Serenity Plus molds a high-silica percentage that is reinforced, LL Carbon Black Tread compound (Long Link Carbon Black) is molded into an asymmetric design featuring Resonance Noise Attenuated (RENOA) silencer grooves designed to reduce acoustic tones. Continuous center and shoulder ribs also help minimize noise while providing constant road contact to enhance straight line stability. It also features 3 circumferential and multiple lateral grooves help evacuate water to resist hydroplaning. Internally, the tires is made up of twin high-tensile steel belts reinforced by spirally wrapped nylon to stabilize the tread area and enhance handling, high-speed capability and ride quality while minimizing weight.
