By Mighty Max - October 26, 2015 Verified Purchase Yeah, these boots are kinda ugly, but so is frost bite!! They are very warm and have great traction. great for water, Snow, Mud, Jello, or what ever you may want to trek around in. A bit stiff and also a bit big for the sizing. I usually wear a 12.5, but my last Kamiks were a 13, so I went with the 13. They are a bit longer and wider than I anticipated. However, an extra insole inserted fixed the problem within minutes. Let it snow, let it snow!! Made in the USA, and do not stink like China Chemicals at all. My wife couldn't believe it........they have no odor at all. Amazing, we will see after hours of sweating in them, I'm sure she will change her mind then:) 4 stars for the stiffness and not true to size. By David M. - November 24, 2015 Verified Purchase These boots are perfect for late fall stand hunting and winter use when moving. Made in the USA and very durable. They are not however, in my opinion, well suited to long sits on stand or similar activities such as ice fishing. In that case a more heavily insulated "pack" type boot would be more appropriate. Ordered an 11 and they felt tight in the ankle the first time wearing them out. After 1 day they were broken in and had a perfect fit with a pair of liner socks and merlino wool outer socks.
